Kati O’Hearn is a writer, performer, and producer.

She is the Head of Development & Creative at House of Water, a women-led production company working across film, television, books, audio, and theater. In addition to incubating her own original projects, she helps shape and manage the company’s slate. With House of Water, she recently joined the indie comedy Bolio as an executive producer and serves as a producer on a new podcast with Lemonada Media.

Kati also performs sketch comedy and improv regularly throughout Los Angeles. She is the star and creator of Pretty Fat, a one-woman comedy cabaret that tackles the absurdities of diet culture. She is currently developing her next solo show with the Elysian Theater.

Beyond comedy, Kati is drawn to stories about magic, transformation, and the natural world. In spring 2026, she co-wrote a middle-grade fantasy novel with Josie Adams, her producing partner at House of Water. The novel will be taken to publishers in fall 2026.

Originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, she is currently based in Los Angeles.
